Welcome to Cal Fuster

We are in Terrades, a tiny village in Alto Ampurdán 10 minutes from Figueres.

In 2020 we renovated the house built in 1851 and transformed it into an independent,cozy, safe and quiet rural house where you can spend precious time with family or friends.

We have a charging area for electric vehicles for our guests. We are committed to sustainability, which is why we have installed a recharging device for an electric vehicle, as there is no municipal charging point in our village.

Outdoor children's play area with a basketball hoop and football goal. There is a ball pool for the little ones. Inside they also have a games room ( the cherry room).

The house is perfect for cyclists. We encourage the use of bicycles, cycle touring and active mobility. We have a workshop area for repairing, cleaning and storing bicycles during your stay. There is also a cleaning area with a pressure washer.

Responsible consumption and tourism

We apply SDG to reduce waste by encouraging selective waste collection at source. We use low environmental impact products for personal hygiene, household cleaning and laundry. We buy products in bulk to reuse packaging with products free of sulphates, phosphates and nickel. We are members of the cooperative "Som energia". We have solar panels and pellet boiler to generate high efficiency renewable energy.

We are adapting the house for people with disabilities. The ground floor for people with reduced mobility and signage designed for people with visual impairments (Braille signage) to promote individual freedom for our guests.

We are a garden space to practice yoga, relaxation, meditation or sports.
Garden variety

Garden variety

We are lucky to have a garden of about 800 m2 with ornamental and aromatic plants. In our private green space, you will find daisies, coloured roses, polygala, callistemon and many other varieties that will awaken your senses of sight and smell. We collaborate with the Association "Viles Florides".

Rooms

On the ground floor there is the living-dining room, kitchen, a veranda, and an adapted bathroom. Upstairs there are 5 double bedrooms, a games room for the children and a toilet with a separate shower area.
